Your privacy matters

When you create an account we store your name and email address, and a display name built from them. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider — we never see them.

What you send — screenshots, photos, PDFs, pasted text or web addresses — is stored in private storage that only your account can reach. Files are not public and are not shared with other customers.

Your original file is never modified.

FixIt uses artificial intelligence to analyze what you send and to prepare drafts. Before text is sent for analysis, FixIt masks sensitive values it can detect, such as long card-like numbers and similar identifiers.

Text inside a PDF is extracted and masked before analysis. FixIt cannot yet automatically mask sensitive information inside a photo or screenshot. When that happens, FixIt asks your permission first and records that you agreed. You can always cancel and send a version with sensitive parts covered up.

Analysis happens on our servers. AI is never given the ability to act on your behalf.

Analysis and draft preparation are performed by an external AI provider reached through Lovable’s AI gateway. The provider receives the masked submission content needed to perform the analysis, and no account passwords or payment details.

To check facts, FixIt may look up a company in its own verified directory, query public domain registration records (RDAP), or query a URL reputation service. These lookups send only the domain, web address or organization name involved — never your files or personal details.

Lookup results may be cached for a short time so repeated checks are faster.

Your cases, submissions and files stay in your account until you delete them. Temporary copies created for masking exist only for the duration of the request and are not stored.

We keep operational records — analysis timings, provider errors, usage counts and privacy-safe product events — so FixIt can be run, monitored and improved.

You can delete a case at any time, which removes the case, its submission, files and drafts. You can delete your account from the Account page, which removes your FixIt application data.

FixIt uses storage in your browser to keep you signed in. Product analytics are recorded in our own database, not sent to an advertising network. Analytics events record what happened — for example that an analysis completed — and never the content of what you sent, amounts, file names or case text.

Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Card numbers and security codes are entered on Stripe’s payment form and are never stored in FixIt’s database. FixIt stores only the references needed to know which plan you’re on and when it renews.

Your submissions are used to provide FixIt to you. We don’t sell your personal information to advertisers.

You can review, export by copying, or delete your cases at any time, and you can delete your account. To ask a privacy question or raise a concern, use Report a problem and choose “Privacy concern”.
